Renthal R4 520 130L SRS Road Chain

This Renthal R4 SRS Road Chain comes with 130 links and features Renthal's Self Regulating Seal (SRS) technology. This specially developed sealed ring chain is designed to last longer in road applications. The SRS ring is pre-loaded during assembly, creating a spring effect that maintains a tighter seal as the chain wears, unlike conventional O-rings and X-rings. This keeps the specially formulated grease trapped around the critical pin and bushing area, while also preventing dirt, water, and other contaminants from getting in.

The R4 SRS chain offers improved flexibility and smoother operation compared to standard O-ring chains. It's built with larger diameter pins made from a specially enhanced alloy steel, which helps resist shock loads and wear. The quad riveting process on each pin adds to the chain's tensile strength, and thicker inner and outer plates contribute to a longer fatigue life. The gold-anodized side plates not only look good but also help prevent corrosion.
