Ridetech 73-74 Chevrolet Nova w/ Bump Complete Air Suspension System - Pin Spindle

Ridetech's HQ Air Suspension System for the 1973-1974 Chevrolet Nova uses pin-style spindles and covers the full X-body family: Nova, Buick Apollo, Oldsmobile Omega, and Pontiac Ventura. This is a complete front-and-rear air ride conversion that replaces the stock suspension with matched Ridetech components from the control arms to the 4-link.

Up front, upper and lower StrongArms replace the factory control arms, correcting the suspension geometry that GM originally designed for comfort rather than handling. Tall spindles change the front suspension height without altering the spring rate or shock travel, which is a cleaner engineering solution than simply cutting springs. Front and rear HQ Shockwaves integrate the air spring and shock absorber into a single unit, simplifying installation and ensuring the spring and damping are properly matched.

A front sway bar is included to manage body roll, and the bolt-on 4-link out back replaces the leaf springs for much better axle control. Leaf springs allow the rear axle to move side to side under load, which the 4-link eliminates. With HQ Shockwaves at all four corners, the system is balanced front to rear.

Air ride on a 1973-1974 Nova lets you adjust ride height for different situations. Drop it for shows, raise it for daily driving and speed bumps, all without changing any hardware. You will need a compressor, tank, and management system to run the air springs, as those are not part of this suspension kit.
