Ridetech 79-93 Ford Mustang w/ Stock K-Member Front SLA Suspension System

Starting with the billet aluminum upper control arm, this front SLA suspension system for your 1979-1993 Ford Mustang is a significant upgrade over the factory McPherson strut design. It's built to greatly improve negative camber gain and overall suspension geometry, which means your tires stay more planted on the pavement through corners without needing excessive static camber. The engineers also optimized caster, roll center, and Ackerman angles for a more dialed-in feel.

This system replaces the stock setup with a bolt-in design. It uses frame surrounds to create strong attachment points for the upper control arms and shocks, transferring the load directly to the frame rails. You get tubular lower arms and spindles that utilize S550 Mustang hubs, which helps prevent flex and is compatible with S550 or SN-95 Mustang brakes. The arms use Delrin bushings to minimize stiction, and the spindles are designed to allow up to 30 degrees of steering angle with a 275mm wide tire on a 17-inch wheel, while nearly eliminating bumpsteer to under .050 inches. This system is designed to work with your stock K-member, but it's not compatible with the stock 84-86 SVO K-member.

You'll need to purchase Ridetech Coil-Overs or Shockwave air suspension separately, as they are not included with this kit. It is compatible with the stock sway bar or most aftermarket options, giving you flexibility in your build.
