RockJock 2021+ Bronco Rear Frame Johnny Joint Rod End 2 1/2in Narrow Weld-On 74mm x 16mm Ball

RockJock is a well-known name for folks building serious off-road suspension systems, and they're known for making parts that can handle a lot of articulation. This specific part is a weld-on Johnny Joint rod end, designed for fabricators who need a lot of flex in their suspension. It gives you up to 40 degrees of movement in any direction, which is a big improvement over the typical 22 degrees you get from a heim joint. Plus, the urethane bushings inside help cushion things, something a heim joint just can't do.

The center ball is heat-treated and cross-drilled so you can lubricate it easily through the zerk fitting on the outer shell. It's held in place by two heavy-duty, heat-treated washers and a snap ring. The outer shell itself is CNC machined from DOM tubing, which is strong and weldable, and it's a narrow 2.5-inch width. This particular joint has a 74mm mounting width ball and a 16mm thru-bolt hole, specifically made to fit the frame side of the rear control arms on 2021 and newer Broncos.
