Starting with 1/4 inch thick steel side plates, these RockJock front leaf spring shackles are built to handle more than the stock units on your 1976-1986 Jeep CJ. They replace your original shackles with a heavier duty design that also offers improved maintenance thanks to greasable hardware. The shackles measure 4 1/4 inches from bolt center to bolt center, which is about 3/4 inch taller than stock, potentially offering a slight lift and improved suspension articulation.

Inside these shackles, you'll find fluted urethane bushings from Energy Suspension. These are designed to hold grease effectively, working with the included grade 8 greasable bolts. These bolts have zerk fittings on their heads, making it easy to service the bushings and keep your suspension moving freely. The center bolt-in sleeves add extra rigidity to the shackle assembly, making it a solid option for your CJ's front suspension.
