The heat-treated center ball on this RockJock Johnny Joint is cross-drilled, allowing for lubrication to reach the entire ball surface. This joint is designed for fabricators and suspension builders who need a robust component for custom builds. It offers a generous 40 degrees of unrestricted movement in any direction, significantly more than a standard heim joint, thanks to its high-density urethane bushing that encases the inner ball.

This particular joint features a narrow, forged 2.5-inch diameter body and a long shank design. The shank provides 3.5 inches of 1.25-inch-12 RH threads, and the center pivot ball measures 2.625 inches wide with a 0.640-inch thru-hole. The long shank design pushes the jam nut away from the mounting bracket, offering better clearance and easier access for adjustments. The shank itself can also be bent to achieve a perfect fit or gain clearance in tight applications.
