This RockJock Johnny Joint rod end comes with the joint itself, featuring a forged 2 1/2 inch diameter body. Inside, you'll find high-density urethane bushings surrounding a heat-treated center ball. The joint is retained by two heavy-duty, heat-treated side washers and a snap ring, and it includes a zerk fitting for lubrication. This specific unit has 2.3 inches of 1 1/4 inch-12 left-hand threads on the shank and a ball with a 3.150 inch mounting width and a .718 inch thru-hole. It's finished in gold zinc plating.

Designed for fabricators and suspension system builders, this Johnny Joint offers a notable 30 degrees of unrestricted movement in any direction, which is more than the typical 22 degrees found in a heim joint. The urethane bushings provide cushioning that a heim joint can't match. The heat-treated center ball is cross-drilled to allow for lubrication to reach the entire ball surface, ensuring smooth operation and longevity.
