The heat-treated center ball on this RockJock Johnny Joint rod end is cross-drilled for lubrication, a detail that helps ensure smooth operation. This joint is built for fabricators and suspension system builders, offering a full 30 degrees of unrestricted movement in any direction. That's more than you'll get from a standard heim joint, and it comes with added cushioning thanks to the high-density urethane bushings that surround the inner ball.

This particular joint measures 2 1/2 inches in diameter and features a 2.365-inch mounting width ball with a .484-inch thru-bolt hole. The shank has 2 1/4 inches of 1 1/4-inch-12 left-hand threads, and a zerk fitting is included for external greasing. The internals are held in place by two heavy-duty, heat-treated side washers and a snap ring. It's finished in gold zinc plating for a solid look.
