What sets this joint apart is its construction. It uses high-density urethane bushings around the heat-treated center ball, which helps cushion the ride in a way a heim joint can't. The center ball itself is cross-drilled for lubrication, and you can easily grease it externally with the included zerk fitting. This particular joint has a 2 1/2 inch diameter, a 2.375 inch ball width, and a 1 inch-14 left-hand threaded shank, with a .718 inch hole for the thru-bolt. It’s finished in a gold zinc plating for corrosion resistance.
