This particular joint is a well-built, forged unit with a heat-treated center ball that's cross-drilled for lubrication. It features a 2 1/2 inch diameter ball with a 2.585 inch mounting width and a .562 inch thru-bolt hole. The shank has 1 1/4 inch - 12 left-hand threads, and there's a zerk fitting for easy external greasing. It's finished in gold zinc plating for a solid look.
