This RockJock Johnny Joint rod end features a heat-treated, cross-drilled center ball that allows for a full 40 degrees of unrestricted movement in any direction. That's significantly more range than a standard heim joint, giving your suspension more freedom to articulate. The high-density urethane bushings surrounding the inner ball also provide cushioning that a heim joint can't match, making it a solid choice for custom suspension builds where both flex and comfort matter.

Fabricators and suspension system builders will appreciate the robust construction. The joint internals are held in place by two heavy-duty, heat-treated side washers and a snap ring. This particular joint has a 2 1/2 inch diameter forged body, a 2.590 inch mounting width on the ball, and a .718 inch hole for the thru-bolt. It comes with a zerk fitting for external greasing, ensuring you can keep it lubricated without disassembly. The shank has 2 1/4 inches of 1-inch-14 right-hand threads, and the whole assembly is finished in gold zinc plating for corrosion resistance.
