What you get here is a single RockJock Johnny Joint rod end, designed for fabricators and builders putting together custom suspension systems. This joint is built to give you a full 30 degrees of movement in any direction, which is more than you'd typically get from a standard heim joint. It uses high-density urethane bushings around the inner ball to provide a bit of cushioning, something a heim joint can't offer.

The center ball is heat-treated and drilled so you can lubricate it through the bolt hole. Inside, two heavy-duty, heat-treated washers and a snap ring hold everything in place. This particular joint has a 2 1/2 inch diameter housing, a 2.625 inch wide ball with a .562 inch hole for the thru-bolt, and a shank with 1 1/4 inch-12 right-hand threads that are 2 1/4 inches long. It also comes with a zerk fitting for easy greasing and is finished in gold zinc plating.
