This RockJock Johnny Joint rod end features a forged body and a heat-treated center ball that's cross-drilled for lubrication. Unlike a standard heim joint, these joints offer up to 40 degrees of unrestricted movement in any direction, thanks to the high-density urethane bushings that cushion the inner ball. This specific joint is designed for fabricators and suspension system builders, measuring 2 1/2 inches in diameter with a 2.625-inch mounting width ball and a .562-inch thru-bolt hole.

It comes equipped with a zerk fitting for easy greasing and has 2 1/4 inches of 1-inch-14 left-hand threads on the shank, making it suitable for custom linkage applications. The internals are secured by two heavy-duty, heat-treated side washers and a snap ring, ensuring durability. The gold zinc plating offers a clean look and some corrosion resistance.
