RockJock is well-known for building tough suspension parts for off-road vehicles. This Johnny Joint rod end is a popular choice for fabricators and anyone building a custom suspension system. It gives you a full 30 degrees of movement in any direction, which is more than you get with a standard heim joint, and the high-density urethane bushings help cushion the ride in a way a heim joint can't.

The center ball is heat treated and cross-drilled so you can easily lubricate it through the included zerk fitting. It's held in place by two heavy-duty, heat-treated washers and a snap ring. This particular joint has a 2 1/2 inch diameter ball that measures 2.625 inches wide, with a 0.640 inch hole for the thru-bolt. The shank has 1 1/4 inch - 12 right-hand threads and is 2 1/4 inches long. It's finished in a gold zinc plating to help resist corrosion.
