Forged from strong materials, this RockJock Johnny Joint rod end is built for custom suspension fabrication. It offers a full 30 degrees of unrestricted movement in any direction, which is notably more than the typical 22 degrees found on a standard heim joint. This extra range of motion is thanks to the high-density urethane bushings that surround the heat-treated center ball, providing a level of cushioning that heim joints can't match.

The center ball is cross-drilled to allow for lubrication through the included zerk fitting, ensuring smooth operation and longevity. Internally, the joint is secured by two heavy-duty, heat-treated side washers and a snap ring. This particular unit measures 2 1/2 inches in diameter, features a 2.812-inch mounting width ball, and has a .750-inch hole for the thru-bolt. The shank is threaded with 1 1/4 inch-12 left-hand threads, offering 2 1/4 inches of thread length for your fabrication needs. It's finished with a gold zinc plating for a solid look.
