RockJock Johnny Joint Rod End 2 1/2in Narrow Forged 1 1/4in-12 RH Threads 2.360in x .641in Ball

This is a RockJock Johnny Joint rod end, a popular choice for fabricators building custom suspension systems. It's designed to give your suspension components a lot of freedom to move, allowing for up to 40 degrees of movement in any direction. That's significantly more than a standard heim joint, which typically only offers about 22 degrees. The urethane bushings inside help cushion the ride, something you won't get with a heim joint.

The center ball is heat-treated and has a hole drilled through it for lubrication, and it's held in place by two heavy-duty washers and a snap ring. This particular joint has a narrow 2 1/2 inch body, a zerk fitting for easy greasing, and 2.3 inches of 1 1/4-12 right-hand threads on the shank. The ball itself is 2.360 inches wide and has a .641 inch hole for the thru-bolt. It's finished with a gold zinc plating to help resist corrosion.
