RockJock is well-known for building tough suspension parts for off-road vehicles. This Johnny Joint rod end is a popular choice for fabricators and anyone building a custom suspension system. It gives you a lot more freedom of movement than a standard heim joint, allowing up to 40 degrees of unrestricted motion in any direction, compared to the typical 22 degrees you get from a heim. This extra flex is key for keeping your tires on the ground over rough terrain.

What makes the Johnny Joint work so well is the high-density urethane bushings that surround the heat-treated center ball. This setup provides a bit of cushioning that a heim joint just can't offer, while still maintaining a solid connection. The center ball is cross-drilled so you can easily lubricate the internals through the zerk fitting, and the joint is held together with heavy-duty washers and a snap ring.
