Unlike a standard heim joint, which typically offers around 22 degrees of movement, this Johnny Joint can flex up to 40 degrees in any direction. This is thanks to its unique design that uses high-density urethane bushings to cushion the inner ball, providing a smoother ride and better control off-road.

This particular joint is a narrow forged style, measuring 2 1/2 inches in diameter. It features a heat-treated center ball that's cross-drilled for easy lubrication through the included zerk fitting. The shank has 2.3 inches of 7/8 inch-14 right-hand threads, and the ball itself has a 2.440-inch mounting width with a .515-inch thru-bolt hole.
