RockJock is a well-known name in the off-road and performance suspension world, and their Johnny Joints are a big reason why. If you're building a custom suspension system, like control arms or track bars, these weld-on rod ends are designed to give you a lot of flexibility. Unlike a standard heim joint that typically offers around 22 degrees of movement, these Johnny Joints allow for a full 30 degrees of unrestricted motion in any direction. This extra range is crucial for maintaining proper alignment and articulation, especially when you're off-roading or dealing with uneven terrain.

What sets Johnny Joints apart is the cushioning they provide, thanks to the high-density urethane bushings that surround the inner ball. This helps absorb some of the road shock that a metal-on-metal heim joint would transmit directly. The center ball itself is heat-treated and cross-drilled, so you can easily lubricate it through the zerk fitting on the outer shell. This joint is made from weldable DOM tubing with a .180 inch wall thickness, and it features a 2 1/2 inch outer diameter. It's designed to fit a 2.440 inch mounting width and accepts a .468 inch thru-bolt.
