RockJock is known for making tough suspension parts for off-road vehicles. This Johnny Joint rod end is a popular choice for fabricators building custom suspension systems. It gives you a lot of flexibility, allowing for 30 degrees of movement in any direction, which is more than you'd get from a standard heim joint. The high-density urethane bushings inside help cushion the ride, something a heim joint can't do.

The center ball is heat treated and drilled so you can lubricate it easily through the zerk fitting on the outside. It's held in place by two heavy-duty washers and a snap ring. The outer shell is made from weldable chromoly tubing with a .180 inch wall thickness. This particular joint has a 2 1/2 inch outside diameter, a 2.625 inch mounting width, and a .5625 inch hole for the thru-bolt.
