This is a RockJock Johnny Joint rod end, a popular choice for fabricators building custom suspension systems. You get the 2-inch forged Johnny Joint itself, which features a high-density urethane bushing around the inner ball. This joint is designed to give you a full 40 degrees of movement in any direction, significantly more than a standard heim joint, and the urethane also provides a level of cushioning that heim joints can't match.

The center ball is heat-treated and cross-drilled, allowing for lubrication through the bolt hole. It's retained by two heavy-duty, heat-treated washers and a snap ring. This particular joint has a 1.850-inch mounting width for the ball and a .562-inch hole for the thru-bolt. The shank has 2 1/4 inches of 1-inch-14 left-hand threads, and it comes with a zerk fitting for external greasing. The whole assembly is finished in gold zinc plating for a solid look and some corrosion resistance.
