What you get with this RockJock Johnny Joint rod end is a 2-inch diameter forged body, a high-density urethane bushing that surrounds the center ball, and a zerk fitting for convenient greasing. The center ball itself is heat-treated and cross-drilled to allow for lubrication to reach the entire joint. It's retained by two heavy-duty, heat-treated side washers and a snap ring, all finished with a gold zinc plating.

This particular joint is built for fabricators and suspension system builders. It's designed to give you a full 40 degrees of unrestricted movement in any direction, which is significantly more than a standard heim joint. The urethane bushing also provides a level of cushioning that a heim joint can't match. The shank features 2 1/4 inches of 3/4-inch-16 left-hand threads, and the ball has a 1.600-inch mounting width with a .562-inch hole for the thru-bolt.
