This RockJock Johnny Joint rod end is what you get when you need serious articulation for a custom suspension build. It includes the main joint assembly, which features a forged 2-inch diameter body housing a heat-treated center ball. Inside, you'll find a high-density urethane bushing that gives it cushioning unlike a standard heim joint. The joint is retained by two heavy-duty, heat-treated side washers and a snap ring, and it comes with a zerk fitting for easy greasing.

This particular joint is built for fabricators. It has a 1.600-inch wide ball with a .562-inch thru-bolt hole, and the shank offers 2 1/4 inches of 7/8-inch-14 left-hand threads. The forged construction and urethane bushing allow for a notable 40 degrees of unrestricted movement in any direction, which is significantly more than a typical heim joint. The heat-treated center ball is cross-drilled for lubrication, and the whole assembly is finished in gold zinc plating for corrosion resistance.
