The RockJock Johnny Joint rod end is designed for fabricators who need more than a standard heim joint can offer. It gives you a full 40 degrees of movement in any direction, which is a lot more than the typical 22 degrees you get from a heim joint. This extra range helps keep your suspension working smoothly over rough terrain or during extreme articulation.

What sets this Johnny Joint apart is its high-density urethane bushing that surrounds the heat-treated center ball. This bushing provides cushioning that a simple heim joint can't, absorbing some of the road shock and vibration. The center ball is cross-drilled so you can easily lubricate it with grease through the included zerk fitting, and it's held in place by two heavy-duty washers and a snap ring. This particular joint has a 2-inch mounting width, a 0.437-inch hole for the thru-bolt, and a 3/4-inch-16 right-hand threaded shank that's 2 and 1/4 inches long, giving you plenty of material to weld or thread into your custom links. It's finished in a gold zinc plating for a solid look.
