This RockJock Johnny Joint rod end is for fabricators and suspension system builders. You get a forged 2-inch diameter joint with a narrow body, a 5-inch long shank featuring 1-inch-14 right-hand threads, and a 2-inch mounting width ball with a 0.500-inch thru-bolt hole. It also includes a zerk fitting for greasing and is finished in gold zinc plating.

Unlike a standard heim joint that typically offers only 22 degrees of movement, this Johnny Joint allows for a full 40 degrees of unrestricted movement in any direction. The high-density urethane bushing encasing the inner ball provides cushioning that a heim joint can't match. The heat-treated center ball is cross-drilled for lubrication, and the joint internals are secured with two heavy-duty, heat-treated side washers and a snap ring.
