RockJock Johnny Joint Rod End 2in Weld-On 2in X .500in Ball Int. Greased w/ Greasable Bolt

This is a RockJock Johnny Joint rod end, specifically the 2-inch weld-on style with a 0.500-inch greasable bolt hole. It’s designed for fabricators and anyone building custom suspension systems where you need a lot of flex. Unlike a standard heim joint that typically offers about 22 degrees of movement, these Johnny Joints give you up to 30 degrees of unrestricted movement in any direction.

What really sets these apart is the cushioning they provide. Instead of just metal-on-metal, they use high-density urethane bushings around the inner ball. This helps absorb some of the road shock that a heim joint would transfer directly. The center ball is heat-treated and drilled so you can grease it, and it’s held in place by heavy-duty washers and a snap ring. The outer shell is made from .180-inch wall DOM tubing that’s ready to be welded onto your custom arms or links. This particular joint measures 2 inches in outer diameter, has a 2-inch mounting width, and takes a 0.500-inch bolt. A Grade 8 greasable bolt, nut, and washers are included to get you started.
