This RockJock Johnny Joint rod end is a well-built component for fabricators and builders creating custom suspension systems. You get the forged joint body, high-density urethane bushings, a heat-treated center ball with cross-drilling for lubrication, two heavy-duty heat-treated side washers, and a snap ring. It also includes a zerk fitting for easy greasing.

What sets this joint apart is its ability to offer up to 40 degrees of unrestricted movement in any direction, which is significantly more than a standard heim joint. The urethane bushings provide a cushioning effect that heim joints can't match. This particular joint has a narrow 3-inch diameter body, 1 1/2-inch-12 left-hand threads on the shank for a 3.67-inch length, and a 3.250-inch mounting width ball with a 3/4-inch through-bolt hole. It's finished in gold zinc plating for corrosion resistance.
