RockJock TJ/LJ/XJ/MJ Johnny Joint Kit Front End Housing 30 or 44 w/ 7/16in Thru Bolts

This RockJock Johnny Joint kit gives you the components to replace the stock upper control arm bushings on the front differential housing of your Jeep Cherokee (1987-2001), Wrangler (1997-2006), Grand Cherokee (1993-1998), or Comanche (1986-1992). It's designed to work with factory Dana 30 or Dana 44 front axles. By swapping out the rubber bushings for these durable rod ends, you'll gain significantly more articulation from your suspension, which is a big help when you're off-roading.

What you get in this kit is a Johnny Joint insert for the gear case ear, along with a 1-inch thick steel upright piece that already has a Johnny Joint installed. You'll also get greasable hardware with 7/16-inch thru-bolts. The installation involves cutting off the top of your stock bracket on the axle tube and then welding the new RockJock piece onto the existing bracket base. This method avoids welding directly onto the axle tube itself, preventing any potential tube warpage. Keep in mind that you'll need cutting and welding equipment to get this installed.
