The lightweight collar design is specific to the size of the fitting, ensuring a precise compression when used with a Russell manual crimper and the correct die. This helps make sure the end attaches properly to your hose. If you ever need to reuse the hose end for a different setup, replacement collars are available separately. These fittings are available in sizes from -4 all the way up to -12 AN, and they come complete with the collar. Keep in mind that the crimper tool and dies are sold separately.
