This Russell ProFlex hose is built with a stainless steel outer braid, which is a smart choice for resisting abrasion and corrosion. Inside that tough exterior, you've got a Chlorinated Polyethylene (CPE) synthetic rubber liner that's reinforced with a nylon inner braid. This setup means it won't collapse even when things get hot, and it stays really flexible, which makes routing it a lot easier during installation.
You can use this hose for a variety of fluids, including fuel, water, and oils, and it's rated for temperatures from -40 degrees F up to 350 degrees F. It's also approved by the NHRA for use in competition, so you know it's built to handle demanding situations. The actual inside diameter is 7/8 inch, with a nominal ID of 1 inch and an outside diameter of 1 1/8 inches, and it can handle up to 750 psi.
