Russell is well-known for making reliable fuel system components. This -6AN hose end is a straight fitting designed to connect a 5/16 inch SAE female quick-disconnect fitting to a -6AN style hose. It’s a common part for EFI fuel systems where you need to adapt from the factory quick-disconnect lines to aftermarket braided or push-on hoses.
This hose end is made from 6061-T6 aluminum, which keeps the weight down. It features Russell's proven long taper design, making it easier to assemble onto the hose without fighting it. The 37-degree AN flare design ensures a positive seal to prevent leaks, and the fitting is reusable. The red and blue anodized finish is a classic look for engine bays and helps with identification.
This fitting is designed to work with all AN male adapters and is interchangeable with many other manufacturers' hose ends. For the best results and a leak-free connection, Russell recommends using this hose end only with their ProClassic hose.
