The Sinister Diesel Universal Coolant Filter Kit starts with a CNC-machined billet aluminum filter block, a solid foundation for keeping your diesel's cooling system clean. This kit is designed to catch nasty stuff like casting sand, rust, and metal shavings that can build up over time. These particles don't just clog things up; they can actually reduce your cooling system's ability to keep things cool, leading to overheating and potential damage to components like water pump bearings and EGR coolers.

It's built to work with 3/8, 5/8, and 3/4 inch coolant hoses and comes with everything you need to get it hooked up, including silicone hoses, a mounting bracket, and a WIX coolant filter. We recommend changing the first filter after about 500 miles to clear out any initial debris. After that, swap the filter every 3,000 miles for the next two changes. Once those are done, you can typically just change the filter once a year to keep things running smoothly.
