Each shock uses a dual-tube design with a hardened, chrome-plated shaft that's been super-finished for durability and smooth operation. The precision valving is tuned by Skunk2's suspension engineers to work well with their lowering springs or adjustable sleeve coilovers.

What makes these stand out for a lowered Civic is the shortened shock body and reduced shaft stroke. This setup helps maintain proper suspension travel even when the car is sitting lower, which means you get improved performance without a harsh ride. The polyurethane top hat bushings also help you feel what the suspension is doing, giving you better feedback.
