By reducing the amount of heat that gets into your intake manifold from engine components, it helps keep the incoming air charge cooler. Cooler air is denser, which means your engine can burn more fuel and air, potentially leading to a small horsepower increase.
This gasket is specifically made for a 68mm throttle body opening and is intended to work with Alpha or OEM B, D, F, and H-series throttle bodies, but it will not fit Skunk2 Pro Series throttle bodies. It's a well-built part that helps protect against heat soak, making it a good choice for street cars and weekend track use.
