This set includes 16 Skunk2 Alpha Series valves, designed for Honda and Acura K-series engines like the K20 and K24. You get 8 intake valves and 8 exhaust valves, with the intake valves being 1mm larger than stock to help improve airflow into the combustion chamber. These are built from strong, one-piece forged steel alloys, specifically HNV-3 for intake and EV8 for exhaust, then put through a special heat-treating process for extra toughness. They're also hard chrome plated, which makes them stronger, reduces friction, and helps prevent corrosion.
Skunk2 specifically designed the head profiles on these valves to optimize how air moves through them, and they've tested their entire valvetrain lineup in-house to make sure everything works together for better performance. These valves are about 3-10 grams lighter than stock, which can help the engine rev more freely. They fit a range of popular vehicles, including the Acura RSX, Honda Civic, and Honda Accord, among others.
