Forged from 4340 Chromoly steel and then heat-treated, these Skunk2 Racing Ultra rods are built for serious performance in your K24A or K24Z engine. The X-beam design is a key feature, strategically removing material to reduce weight while maintaining exceptional strength. This results in a high strength-to-weight ratio that's well-suited for demanding applications like circuit and drag racing.

You'll also find ribs on the pin end to boost strength and stiffness, especially under high loads and at high engine speeds. The step on the big end, where the rod meets the crankshaft journal, adds further rigidity and helps maintain the rod's roundness under stress. These rods are precision honed with bronze wrist pin bushings and double shot peened to reduce fatigue, ensuring they can handle the power. They come complete with Skunk2 branded 3/8 inch ARP2000 bolts and a packet of lube, ready for installation.

This set includes four connecting rods, each weighing 438.1 grams and measuring 152.00mm in length. They are rated to handle up to 700 horsepower, making them a solid choice for engine builds looking for improved durability and performance.
