Skunk2 Honda F22C Alpha Series Connecting Rods

Forged from 4340 chromoly steel, these Skunk2 Alpha Series connecting rods are built for serious performance in your 2004-2009 Honda S2000. This strong material, combined with a straight H-beam design, offers an excellent strength-to-weight ratio, crucial for handling increased power. Skunk2 carefully tests its 4340 chromoly and works with its foundry to ensure consistency and strength in every rod, using comprehensive heat-treating, tempering, and shot-peening processes. Each rod is also magna-flux inspected to verify its integrity and that all manufacturing steps meet Skunk2's strict standards.

These rods feature dual-pin oil passages to improve lubrication and strength, and the pin end is designed to work with most pistons without needing extra machining. They are shot-peened to reduce fatigue and come balanced to within 1 gram, with a length of 149.70mm and a weight of 546 grams. Included are 3/8-inch ARP2000 bolts and bronze wrist pin bushings, making them ready for builds capable of handling up to 900 horsepower. FEA analysis was used to refine the design for optimal performance and durability.
