Starting with a seat pressure of 100 lbs at 1.600 inches, Skunk2's Pro Series XP valve springs are built for serious performance in Honda and Acura K-series i-VTEC engines. These dual springs are designed to prevent valve float and keep your valvetrain stable even when you're pushing past 11,000 RPM, making them a solid choice for turbocharged or extreme high-RPM builds.
Each spring is made from super-clean, chrome-silicone wire milled in Japan, then heat-treated, shot-peened, and chemically polished for improved strength and durability. The inner and outer springs are designed with differing frequencies to work together, preventing valve float and maintaining stability. This well-built set is engineered to handle the demands of high-lift camshafts and prolonged high-rpm use, as proven on engine dynos and race tracks.
