When you're looking to get more out of your 1993-2001 Honda Prelude's H22A or F20B DOHC VTEC engine, Skunk2 Racing's Tuner Series Stage 2 Camshafts are a solid choice. These camshafts are designed to work well with mildly modified engines, aiming to boost horsepower and torque without sacrificing your factory idle quality or low-speed emissions. Skunk2 has a long history with these camshafts, first introduced in 1999 and based on profiles used in modified street versions of Honda Prelude Pace Cars. They're manufactured from high-quality, proprietary cores, similar to Skunk2's more aggressive Pro Series cams. Each camshaft is CNC ground with unique profiles and lobe shapes to maintain an exceptional idle and keep emissions in check. The material used is a revised chill-cast billet camshaft blank, which offers increased torsional strength, better durability, and reduced friction. Skunk2 grinds these to exact specifications using advanced CNC machines and cubic-boron grinding wheels, ensuring hardened, wear-resistant lobes and surfaces for long-term performance.

With an intake duration and lift of 267 degrees and 12.8mm, and exhaust duration and lift of 274 degrees and 11.9mm, these camshafts are tuned for performance across a wide RPM range, from 1500 up to 9000 RPM. You can expect an estimated gain of 15-20 horsepower and 16-20 ft-lbs of torque. The intake centerline is set at 100 degrees and the exhaust at 105 degrees, with valve clearances specified at .007 inches for intake and .008 inches for exhaust.
