Skunk2 Ultra Series Honda/Acura Stock Size K Series VTEC Valve Set (STD Compression)

The Skunk2 Ultra Series valves are forged from HNV3 martensitic steel for the intake and EV8 austenitic steel for the exhaust. This choice of materials means they can handle the extremely high temperatures found in performance engines. Each valve is then heat-treated using a special process for extra strength and durability. A Chromium Nitride coating is applied using physical vapor deposition (PVD), which significantly boosts wear and heat resistance, leading to longer life and better performance. This coating also lowers friction between the valve stem and guide, which is crucial for components operating in high-heat environments.

These valves are designed to optimize sealing, airflow, and stability. With an overall intake valve length of 109mm and an exhaust length of 108.6mm, they are stock size for many K-series Honda and Acura engines. The intake head diameter is 35.00mm and the exhaust is 30.00mm, with stem thicknesses of 5.48mm for intake and 5.45mm for exhaust. Skunk2 designs, develops, and tests its valvetrain components in-house, ensuring they meet high standards for performance and reliability. This set includes 16 valves, suitable for a wide range of Honda and Acura vehicles like the Civic, Accord, CR-V, and RSX.
