SKY Lift Kit Components

The Skyjacker JL45ERBKBLT lift kit is built around a unique progressive 2-stage dual rate long travel coil spring system. This design starts with a 1st Flex Rate stage that offers a comfortable ride and allows the suspension to flex for better articulation. As the suspension compresses past this flex rate, the 2nd Ride Rate stage engages, providing the support needed for more aggressive driving. The rear coils are specifically designed to be side-specific, coordinating with the Wrangler's unique suspension handling characteristics.

Shocks are crucial for controlling suspension movement and keeping your tires planted on the terrain. This kit includes Skyjacker's Black MAX Shocks, which feature specific valving and stroke tailored for this application. Their Advanced Foam-Cell technology enhances performance and style, contributing to a smooth, comfortable ride. The front adjustable track bar comes with a heavy-duty rod end and alignment bushings, while a heavy-duty upper mount bracket is included for the rear track bar to ensure the axle is centered correctly. The kit also includes lower control arms with pressed-in HD OEM-style rubber bushings, front and rear bump stop spacers to safely manage suspension travel, and extended length sway bar end links with similar rubber bushings to allow for full articulation.

This kit is designed as a straight bolt-on installation, meaning it removes and replaces existing components without requiring welding or extensive modifications. The Black MAX shocks are nitrogen gas charged with a twin-tube construction and have 360-degree arc-welded end mounts for durability. This setup works with the OEM Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system and drives like a performance handling suspension package, offering an aggressive look with impressive ride quality and stability.
