The individual leaves in these Skyjacker Softride springs are shot-peened with hard steel pellets at high velocities. This process compresses the surface of the American steel, increasing the spring's tensile strength. This is key to achieving better wheel travel and a more comfortable ride without sacrificing the spring's lifespan.
Skyjacker's Softride springs also use bolt-style spring clips, which get rid of friction that can occur with other designs that use cinch-style clips. These clips can bend tightly over the spring leaves, causing binding. Instead, Skyjacker's springs taper over their entire length, creating more flex at the ends. This design distributes loads more evenly and reduces the chance of one leaf digging into the one above it. This kit includes front coil springs and rear add-a-leafs to complete your suspension lift system.
