These springs are constructed using American steel. Each leaf undergoes a shot-peening process, where it's blasted with steel pellets at high speed. This compresses the steel's surface, increasing its tensile strength. This process is key to achieving better wheel travel and a more comfortable ride without cutting into the spring's lifespan. Unlike other designs that use cinch-style clips which can cause binding and friction, Skyjacker uses bolt-style clips that eliminate that friction. The leaves also taper over their entire length, creating more flex at the ends. This design distributes loads more evenly across a larger area, reducing the chance of one leaf digging into the one above it.
