The individual leaves in these Skyjacker Softride front leaf springs are shot-peened with hard steel pellets. This process compresses the steel's surface, increasing its tensile strength and allowing for more wheel travel and better ride quality without sacrificing the spring's lifespan. These springs are made using only American steel and are designed to give your 1967-1980 Toyota Land Cruiser a 4-inch lift.

Skyjacker uses bolt-style spring clips on these Softride springs, which helps eliminate friction that can occur with other designs. Many other springs use cinch-style clips that bend tightly over the leaves, causing binding. These springs also feature a taper over their entire length, creating more flex at the ends. This design distributes loads more evenly and reduces the chance of one leaf digging into the one above it, contributing to a smoother ride and more consistent performance.
