This aluminum construction helps dissipate heat, so the shock runs cooler than traditional steel-bodied shocks, and it's lighter too. Inside, a high-pressure nitrogen gas charge and an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) keep the oil and gas separated, preventing fade and ensuring a fast response.
