If you're working on the front end of your 1980-1998 Ford F-250, Bronco, or F-150, this camber and caster adjustment sleeve from SPC Performance is a handy part to have. It's designed specifically for vehicles with twin traction beam Dana 44 axles, allowing you to easily make alignment adjustments of up to 1.25 degrees for both camber and caster.
The process involves removing the upper ball joint stud nut and breaking the taper. You'll use a sleeve puller to remove the old sleeve and then install this new one. By rotating the sleeve 45 degrees, you can split the adjustment between camber and caster. The clear zinc coating helps resist corrosion, keeping the part functional for longer.
For installation, you'll need a sleeve puller (SPC part number 77880 is recommended). Remember that one sleeve is required per wheel for proper alignment correction.
