If you're working on a 1968 through 1973 Ford Mustang, Mercury Cougar, or similar classic FoMoCo vehicle, these adjustable caster rods from SPC Performance are a smart addition. Modern radial tires handle very differently than the original bias-ply tires they were designed for, and factory alignment specs often don't account for this. These rods let you dial in the right amount of caster, which is crucial for getting that improved steering feel and making sure your wheels want to return to center after a turn.

Stock strut rods on these cars are usually non-adjustable and can develop worn bushings over time, leading to sloppy handling and poor steering response. SPC's adjustable caster rods replace those worn-out parts with a well-built unit that features high durometer, OE-style bushings. These bushings are designed to protect your chassis mounts while allowing for easy caster adjustment.
