If you're working on the independent rear suspension (IRS) on your 1999-2004 Ford Mustang Cobra, and you've found worn rear knuckle cross axis ball joints, SPC Performance has a solid replacement. These xAxis joints are built to keep contaminants out and retain their internal grease, making them maintenance-free for long life.
The ball itself has a highly polished electroless nickel plating, which helps with durability. Inside, you'll find corrosion and wear-resistant nylon races that are impregnated with Moly for smooth operation. The sealed design means you don't have to worry about greasing them after installation, and they're designed to keep dirt and moisture out.
This kit includes one xAxis joint. Keep in mind that your vehicle will need four of these joints for a complete replacement. SPC recommends using their press adapters, part numbers 29606 and 29610, for an easier installation, or their #40940 press tool if you don't have a shop press.
