These new Zinc Alloy shims offer a step up in performance compared to traditional aluminum shims. For a small increase in cost over aluminum, you get the hardness similar to their premium manganese bronze shims, along with much better compression strength. This means they hold up better under load. The shims measure 2.5 inches wide, 5 inches long, and provide a 4.0-degree angle adjustment. Each box contains six shims, and they are built for over-the-road heavy duty truck use.
If you're using Z Blocks or axle spacers, these shims help spread the load to prevent crushing. This ensures they maintain their intended angle and function over time.
