SPL Parts 13-19 Cadillac ATS/ATS-V Front Tension Rods

For your 2016-2019 Cadillac ATS or ATS-V, these front tension rods are designed to give you a much more direct connection to the road. They replace the stock rubber bushings with low-friction FK Spherical Bearings, which get rid of that vague, mushy feeling you might get from the original setup. This means you'll notice improved turn-in response and a more connected steering feel, whether you're on the street or the track.

These tension rods are built for serious performance. The main rods are made from a strong, yet lightweight, billet aluminum alloy (2024) that's precision CNC machined and gun drilled to reduce unsprung weight. This is important because less unsprung weight helps your suspension react faster to bumps and changes in the road. The hardware uses blue anodized titanium, which further shaves off weight and adds strength. The FK bearings themselves are manufactured in the USA and feature a JMX hardened, high-misalignment design for maximum articulation. They also have a Teflon liner that's chemically bonded to the race, providing quiet operation, low friction, and excellent durability across a wide temperature range, from -65°F to 325°F.

You get a wide range of front caster adjustment with these rods, allowing you to dial in your alignment for optimal handling. You can also tune the anti-dive geometry using the included stainless steel spacers. SPL's exclusive 360-degree rotating clamp design makes it easy to lock in your desired alignment settings quickly and precisely. These tension rods are sold as a pair and are proudly made in the USA. Note that you will need to slightly clearance the knuckle for the 5/8" socket head cap screw to pass through, though the knuckle can typically be returned to stock condition afterward.
